The programme was conducted in accordance with the pre-scheduled timeline:
10:30 AM – Registration of Participants: Students and faculty members registered upon entry. Over 60 participants spanning B.Ed. (1st & 4th Semesters) and D.El.Ed. (1st & 2nd Years) attended the event.
10:40 AM – Inauguration & Ceremonial Lighting: The program formally commenced with a lamp-lighting ceremony. Dignitaries and faculty members offered floral tributes to national icons, including Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and Raja Ram Mohan Roy.
10:45 AM – Introductory Remarks: The Principal & Teacher-in-Charge (TIC) delivered opening remarks, setting a reflective and educational context for the day’s deliberations.
11:00 AM – Historical Overview of the Partition of Bengal: A detailed presentation covered the background, timeline, and administrative decisions surrounding the partition, emphasizing its historical significance.
11:20 AM – Student Presentations: B.Ed. student-teachers delivered presentations highlighting personal histories, literary reflections, and historical accounts of the period.
11:40 AM & 12:00 PM – Discussions on Human, Social, & Economic Impacts: Faculty members and speakers led discussions focusing on displacement, human suffering, and the long-term cultural and economic shifts experienced across the region.
12:20 PM – Open Interaction Session: An interactive session allowed students to share reflections, ask questions, and discuss the enduring lessons of communal harmony.
12:40 PM – Vote of Thanks & Conclusion: The formal proceedings concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the event organizers, followed by the national anthem.
